Look at how this course could work for you

This course will teach you most of the basic exercises that we use in a mat Pilates class, you will be able to watch a demonstration and listen to the description before trying it out for yourself.  You will then be able to go back to that lesson to check your technique,  before you feel ready to progress with the course.

You will see yourself grow and develop ready for your return to class.

Here's what's included in this course

  1. Correcting your posture and how we achieve it.
  2. Individual exercise demonstrations with a description of how to do them with modifications and also with progressions so that you can work at a level that is suitable for you.
  3. The course is spread out over four weeks and each week should take you roughly 1 hour to complete

Your Investment

The value of this course is £57 and we believe that is extremely good value with over 30 separate lessons for you to go through, and also a library of exercises for you to have as a reference for life. So all of this is yours for  £37

Your Teacher.

My name is Tony Vout and I have been practicing Pilates since 2005 when I suffered a slipped disc and I've been teaching Clinical Pilates since April 2016. My Pilates teaching has been complimented by my extensive training in Physiology and Anatomy as a fully trained Sports Massage Therapist and my extensive knowledge of endurance sports as an active Triathlon Coach and Endurance Run Coach.  My passion is to teach people how and why their body moves in a specific way and to help people get their body back into balance, improving strength, mobility, flexibility and normal daily functional health.

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of person do I need to be to make this work?

You don’t need to be a saint. Just someone who is open minded and genuinely willing to make the time for the change you seek.

I’ve tried lots of stuff before and nothing has worked. Does this really work?

Pilates can offer many benefits such as better posture, joint mobility and strength.  It has changed many of our clients’ lives including our athletes and made them feel empowered and in control of their bodies once again.  These can all be achieved so long you are consistent with your practice and you make it a habit.  We’re there to help you, but ultimately you are in control of how far you progress.

Once I've completed your course could I try one of your classes?

Yes, we offer you a Free Pilates taster class.  Where you can join one of our group classes and meet us and our other clients and get a feel for our teaching and approach.

What results can I expect?

I’ll tell you what my clients have said to me. They feel more dynamic, stronger and body aware.  They tell me that my voice is in their head and they catch themselves slouching so correct their posture when they are out and about queueing for things. They know what to do if their back is aching when they wake up but they also know that if they do their Pilates every week, the frequency and intensity of their pain or aches will reduce. Some of them have told me that Pilates changed their lives, they feel more confident, they stand taller and feel better about themselves.

How quickly can I expect results?

There is a famous quote by Joseph Pilates. He said: “In 10 sessions, you feel better, 20 sessions you look better, 30 sessions you have a completely new body.”

It sounds great but I don’t have time?

Some of the lesson are only a minute long, so if you had just 5 minutes free and If you want your wellbeing and happiness to improve you’ll find the time.

Do I need to be fit to keep up in the sessions?

No – because you are doing them in your own time and at your own pace. So you will be be in control of how hard you work.  This course has been designed for beginners and those who would like a reference as to how to do the exercises correctly.  There are modifications for all the exercises if you have mobility, flexibility and fitness issues.  You don’t have to touch your toes or do the splits

Is it going to be really hard?

You will be progressed at your own pace and ability.  Like anything new, you will initially feel uncomfortable and awkward but that soon passes and you’ll see your own improvement really quickly.  We don’t teach impossible exercises, challenging yes, impossible no!

Ruby Lumley

Had this to say after following our course:

"I have suffered with  shoulder and hip pain for some time and was advised that a course of exercise would prove beneficial. As a result I joined a Pilates course run by Tony at my local community centre.
From the beginning I found the instruction easy to follow and as a result was able to exercise through the pain and came away feeling more relaxed.
For anyone looking for an exercise regime that will push you to improve you fitness and relax your body this course is for you".
